1. Who handles your information
THESIS operates this service. For privacy questions or requests, contact privacy@thesisfamily.com. This policy covers our website and backend. It does not replace the policies of Fomo, Pons, AI providers, wallet software or hosting services that you use.
2. Information we process
We store submitted thesis text, source post identifiers, Fomo handles and account identifiers, public wallet addresses, timestamps and processing status. We also store account-to-wallet verification records, launch metadata, artwork references, contract addresses, transaction hashes and fee and market snapshots. Submissions may be collected from Fomo or supplied directly through supported submission channels.
Infrastructure providers process information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps. We do not run an advertising profile system or advertising analytics in the application. The site loads Google Fonts, so your browser may send technical request information to Google. Hosting providers may use authentication sessions or cookies to control access and protect the service; these are separate from a THESIS account.
3. Why we use it
We use these records to collect and deduplicate requests, verify eligibility and wallet ownership, process launches, deliver artwork, allocate fees, display activity, diagnose failures and prevent abuse. For launch requests, we look up the account’s EVM wallet through Fomoscan, match its account identifier to the thesis author and cache the result. Ordinary comments do not trigger this wallet lookup. We link the returned identity to its creator wallet for these purposes. The public interface shows creator handles, theses, tokens and related launch information. A public wallet address can be personal data when it identifies or is linked to a person.
4. AI, images and service providers
Relevant thesis content is sent to the configured language-model provider through OpenRouter. Image prompts may be sent to a separate image-generation provider. Supplied image URLs are extracted before the language-model call; the image is fetched and validated separately. Do not put confidential or unnecessary personal information in a public thesis or image. Provider processing and retention depend on the selected provider and its terms.
We use hosting and database infrastructure, artwork storage such as Cloudflare R2 and Pinata/IPFS, Fomoscan for saved Fomo theses and launch-request wallet lookups, RPC endpoints and Pons to operate the workflow. We share data needed for the relevant operation, such as wallet addresses for chain reads or text for metadata generation. This can involve processing in different jurisdictions. Where required, appropriate transfer and processor arrangements must apply. We do not sell personal data.
5. Public and permanent records
Token transactions, addresses, fee recipients and on-chain metadata are public blockchain records. They may be replicated worldwide and cannot be erased by THESIS. Artwork copied to public storage or IPFS can remain available through other parties even if we stop hosting our copy. Deleting a Fomo post does not automatically delete an already stored submission, launch record or token.
6. Storage and retention
Theses are stored in our database so visits to the website do not each require a Fomo API request. The website displays only the latest ten theses; this display limit is not a deletion policy. Submission and launch history does not expire automatically. We retain records needed to operate and explain launches, resolve issues and meet applicable obligations, and review removal requests individually.
Technical logs and backups follow the hosting provider’s retention settings; we do not promise a fixed short deletion window. Email requests are retained as needed to respond and maintain the relevant correspondence. The application does not store wallet consent signatures in browser local storage or operate an email sign-up.
7. Legal bases and your choices
Where data protection law applies, the basis depends on the processing: carrying out a service you request, legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, compliance with applicable obligations, or consent where required. Public availability of a post does not remove applicable privacy rights. Avoid submitting personal details that are unnecessary for a launch.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Contact privacy@thesisfamily.com with enough information to identify the record. We may need proportionate verification before acting. We cannot erase public blockchain records or copies controlled by others; we can assess requests concerning our own off-chain records.
8. Automation and security
Automated checks and AI processing can affect whether a request is processed or rejected. Contact us if you believe a result or linked identity is wrong. We use access controls and separate backend secrets from the public website, but no system is perfectly secure. THESIS operates its own signing wallet; it does not require the private keys or seed phrases of creators. Report a suspected data or security issue to privacy@thesisfamily.com.
9. Children and policy changes
The service is not intended for anyone under 18. We may update this policy when the service or its providers change. The date and version above identify the current policy; material changes will be described on the website.
